How we help job seekers
We can help you prepare for work through training, work experience, mentoring and life skills programs. We understand that you may already have the skills and experience needed to work, but you’re still searching for the right job. No matter what the obstacle, we offer services to assist you in finding a suitable job and we will work with you to create a plan that meets your needs. We ensure we keep in contact with you throughout your job search and provide you with any assistance you may need to secure your ongoing employment. This may include things like covering travel fares and training costs, or helping you with work clothing or footwear.
Meeting your needs
We actively support and work within your community. Not only are we skilled in uncovering the hidden jobs that may not be advertised, we’re also great at engaging employers with the opportunity of job creation. For your convenience, BUSY At Work provides a ‘one stop shop’ service which means that you can receive all of the support required in one place – in one appointment. Our experienced Employment Advisors can provide you with one-on-one support, and we also have access to independent health specialists and training experts who can service our clients on site if required.
Our support doesn’t end when your job begins. We provide ongoing assistance designed to help you and your new employer ensure success in your new role. This support may include on the job mentoring, workplace coaching, occupational therapy, work place modifications or role redesign as you grow in your new role.
BUSY At Work is a member of CoAct, a national organisation which is dedicated to helping job seekers find the right job in the continuing battle against unemployment. CoAct BUSY At Work is funded through jobactive, an Australian Government initiative.
